I didn't realize it was on today... so, was it good or bad? BK's brain seems to have exploded, but I can't tell if it's in a good way or a bad one.

So... just wondering but do you guys think that a new thread should be created for Torchwood? Quite a few people here watch it and it's a show in it's own right despite being a spin-off of Doctor Who... What does everyone think?

I'm pretty sure he was just exploding in random topics that day :P

And I'd say maybe another thread for torchwood, because not all Who'ers have seen it (like me), though by that same token the ones who haven't probably have no interest in it, sooo they probably wouldn't care too much about spoilers in this topic.

Have we made a Torchwood thread? Because I'm loving Miracle Day and I want to know whether or not I should gush about it here.

Yeah, I made one. It's been pretty quiet so far though...

So does anyone has any ideas on how part 2 is going to be? Any thoughts before the series airs again?

There will be Stetsons. Probably for a much shorter period of time than we'd all like.

I kinda had mixed reactions.
Spoiler:
Despite the sociopathy, I adored River. "I'm focusing on a dress size!" When the car Mels was driving first turned up, I honestly thought it was River, because it just seemed so her... and I evidently wasn't far off :P Too bad there wasn't more of, well, anything to do with Hitler in the episode... kinda misleading title... but Rory got to punch him and shove him in a cupboard, notching up ever more awesome points XD And they've covered why River couldn't regenerate in the library, so... yeah, groovy.

But as much as I love Amy and Rory, they kinda bugged me in this episode. Their newborn daughter and only child was ripped away from them and raised to be a psychopath. They've found her, and she seemed to be in a vulnerable place- after all, she'd just saved the life of the man that she'd been raised to kill, and seemed to be revising some of her perceptions about the world- and they're told that they have to abandon her in a hospital on an alien world in the future, and their response? "Oh, okay then." WTF?! And while, yes, it's nice that they got to be there for her childhood, it wasn't in a way that they could appreciate at the time- to them, surely it must feel like they've missed their only child's entire life, and now they're having to let her go again? I don't know, if it were me, I would not leave that hospital room, even if I had to bribe the nurses with catnip. Their apparent utter lack of real reaction was just a bit disconcerting.

Did like seeing the Doctor in top hat and tails, and I do like the new coat, though :P
Also, according to a review I read, there was a nod to The Princess Bride in the episode somewhere. Wait, what? Where was it? Did anybody else catch it?

I didn't catch it either. Also,
Spoiler:
Not only was River named after herself, but she also sparked the conversation between Amy + Rory that got them to see their feelings for each other. So, had it not been for her, they may not have ever gotten married... to have her. Gogo self-causational girl!
