Anyways, I think the movie should be pretty good, although I won't be able to see it on release day b/c it's my mom's birthday. :'(
Uuuuh... CoolKid somehow is right and wrong. Spiderman is indeed a part of Avengers, but as a reserve member. He is not in the early recruits. He doesn`t even join the Avengers in the first 2 decades if I remember correctly. But in the New Avengers, Spiderman joins the team as a main member, I think.mangaluva wrote: By the way, the problem with the previous Spiderman movies is that they weren't made by Marvel and so weren't set into this universe. Checking the wiki page for the new one, though, it turns out it is being made by Marvel, so fingers crossed it'll be in this universe and Spidey'll be around for Avengers II. And what do you mean, CoolKid? Spiderman was often part of the Avengers, IIRC.
The X-Men are also supposed to exist in the Marvel universe, but as long as the movie rights still belong to Fox, that isn't going to happen.
And yes, while Marvel Cinematic Universe is made by Marvel Studios, The new Spiderman (The Amazing Spiderman) is made by Marvel Entertaintment, which is the parent of Marvel Studios. I have my doubt Spiderman will join the Avengers in Avenger 2 or Avenger 3, but if he really does join, that would be freaking awesome. I mean, Spiderman story is being reboot, right. Why don`t make it ready for this universe, anyway?
