Parkur, I'm sure you were quite pleased with Nintendo's press conference, and a wild guess :P, but I'm assuming you are one of Nintendo's loyal and trustworthy fans, so you have every right to be pleased by them.

But for people like me, who wanted to see Nintendo just wow us with their main attraction, their new console, I was disappointed.

Nintendo fans are going to be Nintendo fans no matter what - they love Zelda, and all their IPs.  You guys are loyal to no end.  And a lot of those games you mentioned I have already heard about before E3, so it wasn't like a huge deal - MGS, Res Evil, Mario 3D, star fox I believe were already announced during the launch of the 3DS.

I was just really hoping for something to pull me back into the Nintendo world

I don't recall if Resident Evil was known before E3, but all the other three were definitely known since the 3DS was first revealed (or damned close to it).

I gotta say, I wasn't really thrilled with any of the companies.  Microsoft... well, I never really cared for their system, and their insistence on Kinect just cements that.  Wouldn't pay more than $60 for a working 360, and that'd only be to be able to play Vesperia.  Sony's only game that interested me was Assassin's Creed, but I haven't played either of the other two since I don't have a PS3 (...yet?), so that's moot.  Nintendo's only real shocker for me was Smash Brothers 3DS.

I'm looking forward to Tokyo Game Show, though.  At least Sony's side of things, since their system is the only one left that's region free.

Both of them were announced quite a while ago! Res Evil revelations had a launch trailer in 2010, and Res Evil Mercenaries 3D had a debut trailer earlier in Jan.

Their insistence on Kinect is rather bothersome, however I expect it to be integrated into their next gen console, which is why they are trying to sell it so hard (they want that to be their "wii" gimmick with voice/facial recognition).

However, the 360 has always had good online support, and a lot of good games IMO (mass effect 3).  Assassin's Creed is an overrated franchise IMO, while the parkour in the game is awesome, the combat is really bad..when you are surrounded by enemies, it's always a one on one battle.  Plus the plot is a little...funky.

I'm hoping the actual gameplay is better than what they showed (I haven't played the first AA, so not sure).  Catwoman just kind of doing cartwheel kicks in real-time was rather... lame.

Hm... Let`s see...
7 am - 2 pm : School Day
2 pm - 4 pm : Take a nap
4 pm - 6 pm : do something.
6 pm - 2 am : gaming time :P :P

My console history are NES, SNES, PS1, XBOX, PS2, XBOX360 and PS3.

Sometimes some people challanged me while I was visiting local game center in my city because I was known as unbeatable player on CTR and Marvel vs Capcom LOL

DreamCast really disappoints me and GameCubes lets me down >_<

I played PC Games when I was in Junior HS, which is the era of PS2. And started Online Game 4 years ago while I`m entering university. I`m still playing DoTA everyweek even now :P

anyway back to topic, at this E3 there is supposed to be some announcement for PS4 development and Nintendo`s project cafe, right? Is there any info about that?
holy balls, you have my respect as a gamer - except did you not do hw :P

@ Ginrei: yeah AA was kind of like that too lol XD I think the combat is fun, however that's just one part of the game - the game is more stealthy/puzzly (kind of like Metroid in some aspects), and with this sequel, probably very sandboxy as well.

Skyrim is also a game that I really want to get.

You can sell it now, then.

What Dus said.  It was confirmed that it uses 12cm (or was it mm... whatever) discs, which includes the Wii games.  Keep your controller if you want to use it though, since it can sync to the Wii U.  But if you sell it now, you won't be able to play Skyward Sword until the Wii U comes out.  Consider that in your timing.

Holmes wrote: Which is the new Assasin´s Creed? For PS3?

The games I´m expecting are Uncharted 3 and Bleach Soul Ignition/Resurreccion.
Assassin's Creed: Revelations I believe will be multiplatform for 360/PS3, and possibly PC in the future.

Uncharted 3 is awesome, unfortunately I don't know too much about Bleach Soul Ignition - I don't think it's really a triple A title so it probably won't get too much media coverage during E3 :P (infact, I don't even know if it's getting showcased, I'd have to look into that).
Thanks! I´m going to search now for the new AC, and also, I´ve watched the newest trailers of Soul Ignition/Resureccion (American and European title), and it´s just awesome, I don´t know how to describe it, they made it VERY well, all the moves, attacks, zanpakutohs, kido ...

I still need to finish the first two. :-X
Actually, there are 3 :P AC I, II and AC Brotherhood. *just something: I´ve played AC II 8 times and AC Brotherhood 5 xD*

AHHH gamestop!! sell it on ebay or craigslist please - but, if you do sell your wii, you won't be able to play gamecube games (if you don't own a Gamecube) because Wii-U doesnt have GC compatibility
