It seriously deserves it, though. Everything about it was amazing.
And, you know, speaking of Loki and possesiveness...
Spoiler:
A lot of people think that in this movie, Loki was a little bit possessed by that... whatever that creepy-as-hell thing was in his flashback. In fact, they think that why he wasn't as disappointed at failing was because he wanted to fail.

A person pointed out on tumblr (I'm just the spokeswoman for them, aren't I? :P ) that on the scene where he stabbed Thor that he was crying, and that when he was 'Hulk Smashed', he fully awakened.

I don't know what to really think of this. I mean, it makes sense, but that would just make him be a parallel to his comic-book self, right? :/

Spoiler:
I'm still taking the interpretation that he accepted his defeat because he genuinely believed that if that was what happened, then there was nothing that he could have done to change it. I don't know if that matches his comic book self, but it follows his mythological self.

That could be it too.
You know what I really don't want to happen, though? In the comic, (and maybe in the actual mythology, I dunno) Loki's mouth was at some point when he was caught in Asgard was sewn together. And that would just be very creepy for me, and I'm praying that they won't do it because there is a younger audience watching it.

Spoiler:
He's already implicitly had that happen to him as a small child. In the myth, he offered the dwarves his head in exchange for them making Mjolnir. They made Mjolnir and came for his head, and Loki got out of the deal by pointing out that they couldn't take his head without cutting his neck, which would violate the deal. So they sewed his lips shut.

In Thor, Mjolnir is shown to be in the hall of weapons when Loki and Thor are both small children. No wonder Loki's so buggered up.

So wait... then it's hinted that it's already happened in the films? Poor fella. -huggles Loki- :(

It's good to see quality and long term planning win out.

Spoiler:
Indeed. But there's still the death of Baldur to come, after which Loki is bound by a giant snake that constantly drips venom onto his face. In the myth, his wife catches most of the venom in a bowl, but he doesn't seem to have a wife here. His son Sleipnir's around, though :P
And sorry, Slider, I automatically read your posts in a tone of heavy sarcasm so I need to ask for clarification: is that genuine approval I hear?

EDIT: The below picture will make it impossible to find Loki scary ever again.

^ 'Kay, so, because of my current obsession being Tom Hiddleston right now, and I am looking up everything about him, I shall give you some info:
That is Mark Ruffalo's son. And he came on almost all the days they shot the movie, and whenever Tom finished his scenes he was like, "OH MY GOSH YOU'RE SO AWESOME." And Tom feels like the kid was an inspiration to him.

And I actually just read all of slider's post with a sarcastic drip on them. It just grows on you. :P

It's confirmed to be in production but there isn't much about it confirmed aside from that.

Also, when I tried checking "Black Widow" in wikipedia, one of the disambiguation options it offered me was a pornography company.

Scarlett Johansson... pornography...

Not very surprising, really. :|

Also, why is she named the Black Widow? Did she like, have to kill her husband or lover on a mission or something?

Following World War II, Natasha was recruited to become part of the Black Widow Program, a team of elite female sleeper agents.  The Soviet state eventually arranged for Natasha to marry Alexi Shostakov, a champion test pilot. After a few years of a happy marriage, the KGB faked Shostakov’s death in a rocket test; grief for Shostakov drove Natasha’s resolve deeper and she continued her education with the Red Room Academy, finally being appointed the title of the Black Widow.
