But I'm surprised. I heard that it's airing at 11AM. Is that true? Because, I remember while watching Avatar as a kid, since it would air at either 8 or 8:30 p.m, and given how Nick does that to their 'big' shows (i.e Danny Phantom, for example.) it just doesn't make sense to me. :/

googling it it seems that's the case, but the difference is that Airbender aired on Fridays, while Korra's airing on Saturdays. Friday shows get better ratings at night because people are back home from their weekday business then, and with Korra being a Saturday show, there's the whole tradition of "Saturday morning cartoons", which I'm guessing is because later on in the night people are more likely to have weekend plans.

Also, word got around on Tumblr, and both Bryan AND this one guy who is the model for the action scenes both have tumblrs. And the guy who is the model sees it, and responds to it with magnificent guilt-trip trolling.

So I've confirmed the episode 1 leak is true. Unless that site decided to be blatant liars, as I just know that site I go to sometimes posted it, didn't actually look at the video.

^_^ The people from the channel replied my e-mail, and they said they'll take note of what I asked. They said that it's difficult to please everyone, but that they really try to.
Maybe they won't dub the show, but at least they know about it!

Anyway, I liked it a lot. The humor is great, and...

Spoiler: just in case

If you think back to the very first episode of Avatar, you'll notice that Tenzin's and Katara's speeches are very similar at some points. Like, at the beginning when they start off almost exactly the same. Of course, Tenzin's is more positive.
Also, it was a little weird to see Katara so old. I guess it's just strange because we're so used to seeing her being a teenager.
And, I love both Bolin and Mako, though I'm shipping Makorra.

I loved when Tenzin's one daughter was like "hey I read all about your adventures Katara, and I was wondering what happened to Zuko's mom--" and got cut off. Trolling that section of the fanbase so hard.
