Two more years, then. :P

And wasn't Bucky Captain America while Steve was frozen? Or is the sleep getting to me?

Frozen in death, mayhaps.  :P

Basically, Cap got killed, Bucky took over, and then comic book death-turned out Cap was only lost in time because the Red Skull was a dick.

So, the Red Skull was around for more than just one movie? :P

The Red Skull scared me. ;3;

I meant in the comics.  But don't be surprised if he comes back in another Cap movie.  He was absorbed by the Cosmic Cube, and his resurrection at the beginning of the Winter Soldier arc in the comics was by taking over the body of the person who got ahold of the Cosmic Cube.

Red Skull did look like he was getting a little torn up by the Cosmic Cube, but when he actually vanished he disappeared into stars in a manner that looked remarkably like Bifrost transportation. So he'll probably be back.

And nobody anywhere was surprised.

Apparently another Hulk movie is planned for 2015. Mark Ruffalo's been so well-received that they really want to make another movie, possibly playing into that The Leader setup from the 2008 movie, but they want to take it slow to make sure that it comes out much better than the 2003 and 2008 efforts. I'm hopeful.

I also read a funny fact about the two Iron Man movies which probably applies to the third; most of the script was not precisely scripted, but instead had a general outline of what each character was saying, so most of the dialogue in the movie is a bit improvised, which is what gives it such a naturalistic feel. Jeff Bridges said it felt like "a $200 million student film" XD

I saw Avengers yesterday,

pretty good movie - the plot was sometimes pretty hard to follow and just kind of like "um..okay, I'll go with it", but the action scenes were top notch, along with the characters and humor.

One thing I thought was kind of funny was
Spoiler:
The death of that one agent, and how everyone felt devastated.  I mean..I've seen all the movies that led up to the Avengers, and it didn't really feel like anyone truly cared about his ass lol.

Also, the scientist guy who was in Thor that kind of "solved" how to beat the invading army - I had no idea what the heck he was talking about.
Bruce Banner's actor impressed me, he had a very solid performance, which surprised me.  I still think having Norton would of have been nicer.  Wonder why he skipped out...

Everyone else's acting was pretty much on par, you get what you expect from Downey Jr., Thor is..just Thor - no improvements or downgrades, Cap'n America was solid.

Jeremy Renner was Hawkeye was badass though, I thought he was the coolest character, along with SAMUEL L JACKSON!

I saw it in 3d I-Max, and we got there hella late, so I had to sit in the front row.  God, my neck.  Also, screw 3d.

*would have
Spoiler:
I dunno, Tony and Pepper seemed to have been on really good terms with Phil, and while his fanboyism was probably a little creepy it probably flattered Cap. He got remembered for the right things.

He just solved how to close the wormhole :P He built in an override so that the Tessarect's shield doesn't work against other things made of the same material, such as the jewel in Loki's staff. It was only on the second viewing that I caught that his muttering about "Too powerful... you can't fight against yourself..." referred to the Tessarect as well as himself XD
The official line on Norton's leaving was that he didn't fit very well with the rest of the cast of the Avengers and his version of Banner didn't fit, so they wanted a new actor in.

So, was the Scientist dude evil at all? Because I remember at the end of Thor, he was kind of already possessed...
