Re: Fire Emblem
So does anyone plan getting the new FE game? It looks like there are SS features making a comeback.

Re: Fire Emblem
I have no idea of any of the features in it, and I plan to keep it that way. I am gonna buy this game blind. Much as I did FE11.Shinjitstu wrote: So does anyone plan getting the new FE game? It looks like there are SS features making a comeback.
I always buy FE games.

I haven't seen anything about the new one.
I'll get it probably, as long as it's on a platform I own.

I might wake up early and go running. I also might wake up and win the lottery. The odds are about the same.

Nope. I might get one eventually, but I just don't have the money for it right now. I'd like to get The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on 3DS as well, though, so that's two incentives.

Re: Fire Emblem
You never played FE8?(technically, the features are originally from FE2 but not a lot of people have played it so they kinda just atttributed them to FE8) The features aren't too big of a deal but they are convenient to the players.Moriarty wrote: I have no idea of any of the features in it, and I plan to keep it that way. I have a similar situation. I want to buy YGOC 2012 but it's on the 3DS so I kinda have to buy the 3DS to play both games anyway.Commi-Ninja wrote: I'd like to get The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on 3DS as well, though, so that's two incentives.

They brought back the option of being able to move around the world map. That's as much as I know.Moriarty wrote: I have. I meant I haven't seen which of those features they implemented into FE13

Hey, look! This thread can now be back near the top!
Who else plans on getting Awakening (eventually)?

Indeed!
My main concern is which language do I choose? Japanese has Daisuke Ono and Miyuki Sawashiro as voice choices for the main character and their kids. But English is... in English.

Re: Fire Emblem
It depends on if they got decent voice actors. I'd like to believe one of the biggest game companies in 2013 can do that (and they have before) but it's not exactly a guarantee.GinRei wrote: Indeed!

I'm very glad for the voice acting, since the other handheld FE games didn't have that. Even if their voices are terrible, it should still be an awesome game. Plus you can unlock characters from previous games. \o/

Can't wait for the new game! \o/
FE is one of the few strategy games I like playing, since it was my first one and after that playing with mindless units that I can just purchase more of in other games just isn't as fun. Frozen Synapse is a pretty good on too though (PC only I believe)
