I can't help but think though that he's going to be the villain for Thor 2. I mean, didn't Thanos right-hand man (WHOSE TEETH OH MY GOSH THOSE TEETH SCARE THE FRIGGIN' HELL OUTTA ME.) say to Loki that if he didn't take over Earth something bad will happen to him? And there are rumors going around that Loki and Thor will be fighting on the same side again in Thor 2...
I could just be over-thinking it, though. XD

@ginrei: Huh. Kinda reminds me of Phibrizzo trying to appease Lod of Nightmares in Slayers Next. XD

Apparently, Loki is going to have to "face what he's done" in Thor 2. Him getting some redemption by fighting with Thor against Thanos would be really sweet. I genuinely do want to see Loki redeemed and for he and Thor to patch up. I just hope it isn't Redemption Equals Death.

I don't think it's going to be 'Redemption Equals Death'. Tom Hiddleston is contracted for more than one movie with Marvel as Loki. And if it is Redemption Equals Death, than I'm going to be crying tears of depression.

Don't expect any prominent characters to get killed off in any movie.  Marvel isn't stupid enough to do that, since it means they can't use the character again without rebooting.  Just look at what happened to pretty much all of the DC movies and the Spiderman movies as examples why that's bad.

She didn't really get involved with Winter Soldier until Bucky became Cap, so she's not really needed.  However, I don't see Captain America II being about the Winter Soldier.  I'd say Baron Zemo is a more likely villain.
