Mipony, it's like Jdownloader but better :V

(posting this in here because it's where the jdownloader topic ended up as well )

so, if you've seen my scant posts around here and the other helpful-forums, you might have seen me telling people to get jdownloader for all their downloading needs, because of how awesome it is.

The only problem with it is that it's a bit slow at times, especially when open for a while and when you have to un-minimize it and such. Perhaps you haven't had any of these slowness/lag problems, but if you do, I shamelessly advertise for someone else's program:

Maybe because it's not written in java like jdownloader, or maybe it's something else, but Mipony has been a champ about its speediness and suits my needs better than jdownloader did. If you've used jdownloader, the interface for mipony should be fairly easy to navigate, too.

so if you're a downloading machine, you should try it out :V

Rofl, anyways, back on topic. Thanks for the heads up Akonyl. I might take a look at this. I've been using JDownloader for awhile, but I recently got a new antivirus and I think it interferes a bit with the program. I'm too lazy to figure out why or to mess with the settings so I might give this a try until I do figure things out or if I just like this one better. Whatever comes first haha.

Personally I have never watched MLP:FIM. I have enough shows to watch without adding another one. Admittedly though, I am interested in it despite being a 22 year old female (I have a thing for unicorns and rainbows. I think they're spiffing haha). From what I understand, regardless of the ponies and girlish-ness of it all, it's a surprisingly good show with themes that would appeal to a maturer audience. I hear 4chan rather likes it a lot, not that I think much good comes from there or that they have good taste. But even a broken clock is right two times a day. :O

The creator, Lauren Faust (Codename: Kids Next Door, Powerpuff Girls, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends), says she designed the show for everyone and she wants MLP:FIM to be more than just a children's show.  She encourages "older" people to watch it as well.

I rather enjoy the art style and have several screenshots from the show to use as wallpaper.
